What we collect

When you sign up we collect the email or phone number you enter, your name, and the @username you pick. We keep a session cookie so you stay signed in.

If you use the product we also store the notes, files, and share links you create. That is not used for SMS.

Website chat

When you ask the website assistant a product question, we send it and recent product-chat context to OpenAI to generate an answer. Do not include passwords or confidential information. The AI has no access to your inbox or account.

Username and email fields entered during signup go directly to Knock Knock for availability checks, email verification and account creation. They are not included in the AI conversation. Email-shaped product-chat input is also kept out of OpenAI requests.

This website chat keeps conversation history in page memory, not a saved chat or tracking cookie. Refreshing the page clears it. Our application does not save or log these questions and answers. It asks OpenAI not to store the response; this is not a promise of zero retention by the provider. Temporary IP-based request counts help limit abuse.

SMS

We use your phone number to text a one-time verification code. That is OTP only. Not marketing. The number is sent to our SMS provider so the code can be delivered.

We do not sell phone numbers. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing.
